Harriet Scully, co-founder of Take Action Nursing, is a graduate of Laurentian University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Experience and Career Highlights:
- Advanced practice certificate in palliative care
- Hemodialysis training (worked in hospital performing dyalisis treatments)
- Vast experience working with seniors in the long term care sector and within the community
- Compassionate about Care needs of seniors and there families
- Worked with dementia patients prior to becoming an Rn
- Introduced the restorative care process into a large nursing home within the city of Sudbury and watched it assist residents to maintain there abilities
- Provided hands on learning and education to staff to ensure proper utilization of the skills required to prevent decline in dementia patients
Harriet and Jason built Take Action Nursing Limited with a vision of building the best nursing agency and service provider in Ontario. Harriet an RN and Jason an RPN have solid nursing backgrounds that range from long term care, acute hospital, clinic, rehabilitation, community, and agency experience. Together Harriet and Jason strive to make a difference in the lives of patients through the delivery of quality staff and nursing services they provide within the community and long term care sector.
